Dude. As this entry said, I decided I'll just be a hermit, just like every summer holiday and not get on that MSN. Ask the girls (those who have added me at least) or even KC, I'm never online. That add is only full of old friends who have somewhat forgotten me themselves.

I wonder why you're asking me to get on? We're hardcore gamers who only have a few days left to play and finish our games (hence the late reply too). Especially on my part when I have a bucketload of games I can't bring to hostel because it needs a PS2. Mana-Khemia, Chaos Wars, Busou Renkin, Rozen Maiden Gebetgarten, Disgaea 2, WE10...

You'll see me all semester, don't fret. I haven't lost my head yet.

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed

So... I'm thinking, this is gonna be one of those days I'd be feeling really shitty. It's the day when everything goes wrong, everyone wants to piss me off and everytime I do something I'll make a mistake.

Right. Just a heads-up, I now know the next point of attack in my quest for nationwide cuisine hunting.

On the road

Went out with duolulu today.

First we went to Concept Computer somewhere on the outskirts of Gadong. Apparently he's applying for a part-time job... =_=; which is something I stay away from.

Then we went to find a place to eat brunch (it was already 10AM) and went to Gadong. We went around Thye's Foodcourt (formerly Failtoys) first but it looks a LOT like PGGMB, in his words. Then just across Ahan Thai I then saw a familiar name - laMee is now in Gadong! Their springy squishy mees are really nice so we ate there. Later we went to Coffee Bean to get drinks on a real hot day, but not before going to EGM. Meh, no new PS3 games.

I brought my bank booklet so I decided to go to Baiduri at the Mall to update it. Had we were about 5 mins late we'd be queueing long into the midday. Bought Newtype JP March.

Then we went to meet Drac and Reiko at FOS, UBD. Batman looked to be there but he wasn't around, prolly lunching out with a lecturer. The three were filling forms to send to UK for their allowance. We then sent the forms to the post office with a few funny ol' middle-aged women behind the counter.

Reiko lost the who gets to drive out to lunch face-off. We drove to le Taj, hoping to go to Chopstix but it was nowhere to be found. So, on a scorching midday, they were ordering hot Indian food and gulped them sweatily while I nibble on my garlic rice with satisfaction.

They went out to dota but duolulu needs go for a doctor's appointment to fix his right pinkie that got crooked due to playing football. We waited like two hours (not surprised, it's the hospital anyway) until he was told it's actually fixed but he just needs to do self-physiotherapy on the pinkie with some Play-Doh.

With time to burn we went to Seri Q-Lap Mall and I bought more stuff there. Teabox is there now, it's the best drink outlet next to Easy Way and I never miss going to Boulevard to gulp their Green Apple Juice there whenever I go to Miri.

Went back at 6. My family are out to perayaan so I want a GoogleBurger Ayam Special. oi telinga

A deserved Brazil win in the final. I think the coach was instrumental - last game Mexico showed how you need to play Argentina - close down the attackers - and having been one of the most greatest DMs himself, Dunga imbued his defensive strategies on Riquelme. You'd think when captain Gilberto Silva was missing after being consistently in the starting lineup, it will break the team's rhythm, Dunga has a lot of DMs in his team to do a similar job.

Reflecting briefly on the game, the Argentinian attacking players, who have been rampant all tournament, were all quiet. A few inches makes the difference in football, Baptista's shot could have sailed over the bar like it would have the last 12 months, Riquelme would have crashed the net a few minutes later likewise.

Nothing else to be said here and now. This will be the last time, save a few little drabbles, I will talk about football here in my Blogger, because I will open up a new blog for my football rants soon. It will be a platform to showcase my writing skills for the future in some sort of media.

That done, I was alerted that there's not less than 2 new sushi places I need to sample. I wish we had a lot of stomachs... but as my younger cousins put it, "what if all of them are empty?"

To be critical of my fave sport

I am considering an offer by the admin of this site to become a columnist.

I am already busy on the anime front as a song translator, turning down many fansub groups in the process and also UBD reopens soon, but judging from my obsessive behaviour towards football and writing about it, I shouldn't really pass off this opportunity to let my voice heard by the world.

But I fear my style of defensive, compassionate writing will provoke a lot of football flamers. The reason why I don't go to football forums and places where there are discussion, is that a lot of football fans are easy on the insult. Even the site's name is misleading - but that's partly because I don't like the word "critic" in any shape or form, even constructive.

In any case, I shall weigh my options and decide after my supplementary. Oh and another thing - which guise should I use, G-1 or Azu? >_>
