To be critical of my fave sport

I am considering an offer by the admin of this site to become a columnist.

I am already busy on the anime front as a song translator, turning down many fansub groups in the process and also UBD reopens soon, but judging from my obsessive behaviour towards football and writing about it, I shouldn't really pass off this opportunity to let my voice heard by the world.

But I fear my style of defensive, compassionate writing will provoke a lot of football flamers. The reason why I don't go to football forums and places where there are discussion, is that a lot of football fans are easy on the insult. Even the site's name is misleading - but that's partly because I don't like the word "critic" in any shape or form, even constructive.

In any case, I shall weigh my options and decide after my supplementary. Oh and another thing - which guise should I use, G-1 or Azu? >_>
